Concert Attire

In order to present a unified appearance, there is a required dress code for the Young Musicians of Baltimore. This helps to keep the audience’s focus on the ensemble as a whole and, most importantly, the music. All attire should be wrinkle-free or neatly pressed.

All performers: No watches, bracelets, nail polish, nail extensions, or plunging necklines.

He:

• Black Suit
• White dress shirt
• Black long tie
• Black socks
• Black dress shoes

She:

All Black
Ankle length black skirt, black dress pants or long-sleeve (wrist length or ¾ length sleeve) long black dress. (no black jeans, black jeggings or black leggings)
Black dress blouse, long-sleeve (wrist length or ¾ length sleeve). T-shirts or other casual shirts are not appropriate.
Black nylons, black tights or black socks (no bare legs)
Black dress shoes (no sandals, flip-flops or other casual shoes)
Minimal or no jewelry, no accessories or anything that detracts from the appearance of the ensemble
